Ralph Wild and SJP NYC are both strawberry scented, and in my opinion don't smell like crap.

I don’t think Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush line has anything that smells like strawberries. But the Secret Garden line from Victoria’s Secret has Strawberries and Champagne which is a fairly nice, sweet, candy-like strawberry scent:

Out of all those, The Body Shop’s is the most convincing.

In regards to Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, there are two readily available perfume oils that feature strawberry:

Bon Vivant: Powdery strawberry.
Mania: Red musk and very lightly strawberry.

Neither of those are very convincing strawberry scents because they are blended with other fragrances too. If you’re looking for a BPAL oil that does smell predominantly of strawberry the following limited edition oils were close:

Strawberry Moon 2009
Beaver Moon
Beaver’Versary

But those limited edition oils will have to be purchased either on eBay or from other BPAL fans. If you want an accessible fragrance, try out The Body Shop’s strawberry perfume first.

Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab has literally just about any scent you can think of. It might take some searching, but their site is definitely worth a look.

Tobacco Vanille doesn’t work for me. The vanilla is a bit too foody. Far superior is the non-gourmand Spiritueuse Double Vanille by Guerlain. The tobacco in SDV is also superior; a divine cherry pipe tobacco.

My oaf of a father …
My oaf of a father has recently expressed that he’s keen on hardcore gourmands when it comes to shower gels and body creams (coconut, vanilla, he loves Dr. Bronner’s almond soap). I’ve always liked the fragrances he’s chosen for himself (at the moment he’s wearing Knize and Terre d’Hermes), and would like to attempt selecting a masculine gourmand (with a girly heart) for him. Is this Tom Ford number a contender?

I’ve not smelt this one before. Vanilla is a hit or miss with me. There was this random one my dad use to have called “Rare Vanilla” I think? I liked that one.
Have you tried the “Japanese Cherry Blossom” from BodyShop yet? It’s yummy
