@kokolaroo Perfume …
@kokolaroo Perfume is an art, and like art, you relate to it with a gut instinct, so in this case, your gut was right!
Fantastic video …
Fantastic video Katie!! Learned a lot! …even though I subscribe to the idea that perfume can personify someone even more than clothing. I confess I am a total novice when it comes to understanding it as an art. I guess I just picked with my gut….I love that I can turn to you to teach me the finer points….dig a little deeper so to speak.
very very …
very very nice.thanks
@FellZane Contrary …
@FellZane Contrary to what some firmly believe, scents don’t have a gender, so I let my nose lead me to what I want to wear.
Heh-heh, I was on “The Word”, a good 10 years after “The Tube”, but I know that’s what you meant! Thanks!
oooh…I love …
oooh…I love pachouli…and incense!!…glad to see you have mens scents too….I’m not alone
P.S…used to love you on The Tube
oh my goodness …
oh my goodness Katie – I thought I had alot of perfumes..but….hmm……not as many as you….well maybe I should count them…..but then again you can never have toooooo many can you? lol
bahaha. i share …
bahaha. i share your ‘enthusiaism’ for chanel no. 5 : D i quite enjoyed the video… you’re honest haha. x
@Trayceg Glad to …
@Trayceg Glad to welcome another perfume lover to the mix over here! I’m not interested in painting pretty pictures, but in accurately and honestly describing my experiences of the perfumes. There is a huge palate of fragrance notes that perfumers use in creating their works, that go well beyond typically “nice” odors. That’s why I find perfumes so surprising and stimulating, and so enjoy sharing my enthusiasm.
@sab628 Ah yes… …
@sab628 Ah yes…it’s all about how a perfume works on the skin. Wonderful that you’ve made a great match with Amarige – it can be very demanding.
my favorite perfume …
my favorite perfume is amarige, not because of the smell in the bottle, it smells divine on me ! i am very proud because it can be hard to wear
I received this …
I received this invite in my email so I thought I would check it out as I am a perfume junkie with a huge collection as well so I hope you take this as a constuctive view of your video …I thought the counting was tacky like a look at me ..i love haul videos and collections videos but the counting was tacky and your descriptions of clean just used bathroom…floor wax….doesnt paint a pretty picture try sticking to describing the smell in a tactful way,and I’ll bet people will like it more.
@MsCherryKitten …
@MsCherryKitten Thanks for checking in! Y’know, with all the crazy manipulation they can do in the lab these days with perfume ingredients, they can take all the dirt out of pathchouli and just leave it smelling a bit fruity and slight woody. Tom Ford White Patchouli is a good example of that, as is Dior Miss Dior Chérie. Fun facts!
@lilacfunk Hmm, why …
@lilacfunk Hmm, why don’t you try Estée Lauder Sensuous?
@lilacfunk Vanilla …
@lilacfunk Vanilla Fields is always a cheaper yet YUMMY option!
I despise patchouli …
I despise patchouli! BLECH I dont undrestand how anyone can like those dirty smells! My “if I could take 1 to mars” perfume would either be Tova by Tova Borgnine or Romance by Ralph Lauren.
Loved listening to your descriptions!
what’s so …
what’s so disgusting?
Katie, could you …
Katie, could you please recommend a vanilla-ey, sandalwoody mid priced perfume that works well in a tropical climate? I’m so broke but I suddenly HATE my current perfume! I love Serge Lutens bois vanille but can’t get it because of the aforementioned brokeness.
@nadaboom I …
@nadaboom I recommend have a small collection of perfumes that you truly love and use all the time. My collection’s gotten out of control because I’m a perfume critic, and I’ll never be able to enjoy them all. Some perfume will turn after a few years, but most will keep a long time if you store out of heat/light. Basically, fragrance should be enjoyed, so use up what you have, then buy something different the next time.

@broadwaybound121492 Thanks for your kind comment!

@EdieDanielle1995 …
@EdieDanielle1995 heh-heh!
most of the stuff …
most of the stuff you said on here sounded disgusting …
I was just …
I was just wondering. I was told not to collect too many scents like this because it takes a while to get through that much cologne. And by the time you do the cologne has lost it’s potency. What do you reccomend?
@Filipina84 There’s …
@Filipina84 There’s nothing better than finally getting your hands on a perfume you’ve been craving for a while
