I Put Beauty Rush (Perfume) On My Pomeranian =(?

Posted by admin on October 18, 2009

I Was holding my pomeranian on my arms and noticed that her head smelled really bad, so i put 3 sprays of Beauty Rush (Perfume) on her back. Then i went on internet and found out that alot of people said putting perfume on a dog is bad, So what do i do now??? Please Help!
She’s only 7 1/2 weeks old, and not a pound yet.

Human perfumes sometimes can have an adverse affect on dogs; however, no one likes a smelly dog ~ best thing to do now is to give her a bath with pet shampoo.

The next time she plums an offensive smell, give her a bath instead, or you can purchase over the counter pet perfumes that are safe and especially designed for our 4 legged friends…

Wash the dog really well. They have a super sensitive sense of smell and it’s probably driving her crazy. That could make her try to lick it off which can make her sick. If she smelled bad before you did that she needed a bath anyway. Just be sure to use dog shampoo not human shampoo!!!

Give her a quick bath.. If you have dog soap. Then just rinse her coat with warm water. Don’t use anything else on her. Unless you have dog, cat, or horse shampoo/conditioner. Anything else will dry out her skin, and only rinse her once every couple months. Ask your vet how often your dog needs to be bathed. (Cause it might be more or less often. You don’t want to dry out her skin.)

    Good Luck!

There is two things that you can do. You can look up what you should do on the web and hopefully you can find what you should do. If it is serious you should take him to the vet and ask them what to do or have them treat him.
